What Our Customers Are Saying

Don’t just take it from us, let our customers do the talking!

“Stand Up Paddle? YES!” It was my first time trying to SUP. Duane gave me a one on one session early on a Sunday morning. (very flexible and easy going about my time preference) As an instructor, he is the best because he is fully engaged, attentive and an overall awesome guy. He give lots of encouragement which is the key, especially, when a novice like….. Trip Advisor.

I am terrified of water but joined my 9yr old daughter for this wonderful experience! Duane was professional, patient & was able to ease me out of my paralyzing fear. Our private lesson was very reasonably priced & excellent value. And the experience was lifelong memory to share w my daughter. I highly recommend Duane & his staff.

I was visiting Tobago with friends and family during Carnival. I really wanted to go paddle boarding and contacted Duane to get things set up a few weeks ahead of time to ensure there was availability during that busy time. He was very responsive, got back to me, sometimes within minutes via email. He confirmed our appointment and answered my questions promptly.

We got a little lost on our way there so arrived some minutes after our scheduled appointment time. Duane was so welcoming. He really went out of his way to teach us while making us comfortable. I really cannot say enough how great our experience paddle boarding was. Duane and the staff were great!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an instructor?
Yes, you can learn to stand up paddle on your own, but it would take you months to learn what we can teach you in just one hour. If you are a fast learner we can also teach you more advanced skills that our instructor has learned over years of stand up paddling.
Where do we learn to Paddle Board?
Stand Up Paddle Lessons are taught from the beautiful Pigeon Point Heritage Park. We can also teach from Petit Trou Lagoon in Tobago Plantations.
Do I have to be able to swim?
We recommend that you should be able to swim but even if you can’t swim you can learn to stand up paddle. You should be ok with falling into the sea with a life jacket on. Our lessons are done in water from 8 to 2 feet deep, so you can always see the bottom.
What ages can learn?
Anyone can learn to stand up paddle. Kids should be able to swim and enjoy the sea. Under 12 will require more attention so classes will be smaller in size.
What will I need?
Sunblock, bikini/board shorts, shorts or rash vest are optional but do help with the sunburn, water is also optional.
