What Our Customers Are Saying
Don’t just take it from us, let our customers do the talking!
Going out with Duane was a great experience! He is a well experience surfer, and a puré tobagonian spirit.lover of this place. He knows all the hiden spots and provides all good quality equipment based on performance. We really enjoyed this two days experience and Hopefully will soon be back!!!!
Duane is a great guide. I was limited on time but he accommodated my schedule so I was able to work in a paddle. He was prompt to communicate and even picked me up from my hotel. He is very knowledgeable about birds and sea life and also gave me some good recommendations for things to do off the water. He even brought a camera and took some photos of me and sent them to me later in the day! Perfect customer service.
I’ve been paddling for over 10 years so I didn’t need a lesson, but I still opted for a tour to have a companion for safety and also to share knowledge of the area. I wasn’t disappointed! I would recommend Standup Paddle Tobago to anyone, including beginners and folks who have never paddled. Duane is a expert paddler and surfer so you will get good instruction and a safe experience.
First off Duane is a really cool guy, great tutor with some humour. Definitely made us feel super comfortable, showed us how to get maximum glides and turns with the least amount of effort whilst keeping composure. It was great to hear the history of Tobago and it’s reef and even was lucky enough to see a wide range of fishes. Beautiful day, awesome time will definitely recommend this to anyone and do it all over again
Frequently Asked Questions
Where and what time do we meet?
We meet at the gate for Pigeon Point for 6am/6:30am. We will discuss best start time.
Kayak or Stand Up Paddle Board?
Most people do our tour in double kayak, if you have stand up paddled before and have lots of experience you can use a stand up paddle board.
What do I need to bring?
Beach wear is fine. A rash guard and a hat f you want more sun protection. Feel free to bring granola bars, or water in your kayak.
Should I bring a camera?
We have a waterproof camera that we bring on the tour and will send you pictures, but feel free to bring your own.
What ages can come on this tour?
All ages are welcome, although for young kids we recommend kayaks, with the child in front and the parent behind. Or one kid in the middle of two parents in a kayak. Bring a towel in a dry or plastic bag for young kids as they can get cold. Also we recommend a kayak over a stand up paddle for those that have a low fitness level.
